NIKO SCHWIND

A citizen of the world, Niko Schwind has been traveling the globe to create a sense of connectedness on dance floors across Europe, Australia, Asia, South America and more.

His energetic and precise sets breathe life onto the dance floor, and his extensive touring schedule is further proof of that. It was not long before Stil vor Talent label boss Oliver Koletzki took notice of his productions & DJ skills and went on to release Niko’s sophomore album, ‘Good Morning Midnight’ in 2011. His third long-player, 2014’s ‘Grippin’ World’ captivates the listeners with its versatility and coherence, and kidnaps them to a world of sound, made up of elegantly reduced grooves, organic arrangements and accessible vocal-melodies. Trademark sonics would later find an outlet on Suara or Syncopat, while Stil vor Talent remains Niko's core label. Here, he collaborated with Oliver Koletzki as Koletzki & Schwind for a string of EPs and live-sets, eventually culminating in the release of the album 'Noordhoek' in 2018, a collection of Afro-inspired house tracks recorded during a month-long stay in Cape Town's stunningly beautiful nature.

Feeding off the energy of a newfound love for tribal-driven electronic music, Niko dazzled at festivals such as Feel, Sommeroya, Mysteryland or Wilde Möhre this past summer, with a string of club shows in Canada, Mexico and Russia to look forward to before the year comes to a close. For Niko Schwind there's clearly no end in sight – he's just getting started!
